Using the Website
To use the website, simply 'click' on the products you wish to order in our online catalogue which will then appear in your shopping basket. When you have selected all the products you wish to order, 'click' on the 'checkout' button to take you through the checkout process, at which point we obtain an authorisation from your credit card company, through the Paypal system, for the amount detailed on your order summary page. We will email you to confirm your product order has been received. We will email you again to confirm that the products have been despatched to you. A contract of sale for the products you have ordered is concluded between you and Hope & Benson upon those products being despatched to you.
To be eligible to purchase goods on this website and to lawfully enter into and form a contract, you must be a holder of a debit or credit card. You should be aware that when purchasing goods, you are entering a legally binding contract and that contract shall be concluded in Ireland and that it is the Irish law that is applicable. Products ordered on this website are for personal use either by yourself or by your intended recipient(s) of the products. We reserve the right to decline any order that it has a reasonable cause to believe is for onward sale other than through distribution channels approved by Hope & Benson.
Payment Information
For on-line orders we accept credit/debit card payment through Paypal, or cheques via post. The credit/debit card that you are using must be your own. Payment can be made in your country's currency but will be converted to sterling by Paypal.
By Post
If you choose for us to process your order by post, payment can be made by cheque, please make cheques payable to 'Hope & Benson Ltd.' and write your order number, home address and cheque guarantee number on the reverse of your cheque. Please ensure you use the correct postage for Ireland or it will take 4 weeks to reach us. Please do not send cash.

Delivery Information
Orders paid for electronically are normally despatched with 7 days. Orders paid for by cheque or Paypal echeque are sent out following cheque clearance (normally an extra 3/4 days).
All our products are carefully made to order so please be patient. If there is a delay due to availability, we will notify you by email. We send all orders through An Post, Ireland's post office. Urgent orders can be delivered by first class or next day parcel delivery (may be longer during the busy Christmas period) if requested upon payment of an additional charge. Please mail us for further information.

Product Availability
If any of our products on your order are unfortunately out of stock, we will endeavour to contact you to offer an alternative, or at your request the item will be removed from your order. If paying by credit/debit card the amount will not be charged to your account or if payment has been made by cheque, a refund will be issued.
Changing an Order
If you wish to change an order, simply contact Angela Hope by calling +353 (0)71 98 56812 or emailing info@hopeandbenson.com. Please include your order number and date the order was placed. You can only change or cancel on order before midday on the next working day after you placed the order. On or after that time, the contract of sale for the products you have ordered is concluded and we cannot stop your order being despatched to you. This does not affect your right to cancel an order and return the products to us.
Returns
In the unlikely event that you are not entirely happy with your Hope & Benson purchases, please mail us to arrange an exchange or return. You must return the goods at your expense, they must be unopened and in exactly the same condition in which the goods were supplied to you and with a copy of the despatch note and they must be returned within 28 days of receiving the goods. You are liable for the goods until they are delivered to us and we will not reimburse you until the goods are returned in a condition good enough for resale. You will be refunded at the price you paid for the product at the time of your order. A refund of the delivery charge will not be given unless the products returned are incorrect or were delivered in a damaged or faulty state.
